One Year Wrapped: Redd Light Therapy’s First Year as a SW-Owned Online Pole Studio

Our birthday technically passed in July, but we couldn’t let our first year as the first SW-owned and operated virtual pole dance studio go undocumented. Redd Light Therapy launched with the mission to center sex workers, dismantle stigma, and create an online movement space without censorship or gatekeeping. In our first year, we paid over $97K to sex worker instructors, hosted 500+ live classes, and reached dancers in 28 countries. Here’s what we built together — and where we’re headed next!
